The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) has announced the launch of a new, interactive website designed to assist employers in recordkeeping practices that meet OSHA compliance. The "OSHA Recordkeeping Advisor" is an interactive site that steps employers through potential scenarios to help them define whether injuries are work related and what provisions and/or regulations may apply should a work-related injury or illness claim be submitted.
Scenarios entered into The Recordkeeping Advisor are completely confidential. The service exists merely as a guide for employers to determine for themselves what steps are appropriate and necessary when considering reporting and recording work-related illnesses or injuries.
